#1: National Duals which is really the Big Ten against pretty much everyone else. The Big Ten is considered the center of the universe wrt wrestling. So #1 BT goes against highest ranked other conference champion; #2 BT against second highest ranked other conference champion, etc for 8-dual matches. It really is similar to a Big Ten Challenge.

#2 ACC tournament. Each ACC team puts in wrestlers in each weight class and they crown individual ACC weight class champions and as each wrestler advances team points are accumulated whereby a ACC team champion is also crowned.

#3 NCAA tournament....same as ACC tournament except not every team qualifies wrestlers in each weight class. Looks like VT will qualify 7....maybe 8 our of 10 weight classes this year. There are only 33 spots in each weight class.
